Pray for Kevin Kingston's father

Kevin Kingston has asked for prayer for his fathers recovery in the QEII.  He broke his collar bone Friday in his sleep, and was taken to emergency.  Some series of events with his pain medication led him back to emergency.  Although things are turning around - Kevin is asking us to uphold his father in prayer for a complete recovery.  

Pray for Tony - Pat McIver's brother

Just received a call from Pat McIver that her brother Tony suffered a stroke.  Al and Pat will be flying out to be with him in Ottawa.  Please uphold the entire family in prayer.

Condolences to Renee Oram & family

It is with sadness that we inform the church family that Renee Oram’s father, Jonathan Richards passed away early Wednesday evening surrounded by loved ones. Both Don and Rene are currently in Newfoundland with their family. Please remember them and their love ones in prayer as they lay their father to rest.

Please pray for Renee Oram’s father Jonathan Richards who is at the end of a long battle with bone cancer. As the family is believing this is his time to enter into the loving arms of the Father, let pray for him to be pain free and for him and his family to be at peace.

Urgent Prayer for Wayne Grantham's brother

Wayne Grantham's brother Alan was vacationing at their Condo in Mexico for the past two weeks.  Yesterday at breakfast time he suddenly became completely unable to remember anything.  His wife Brenda took him to the hospital there and they have now diagnosed him with a Frontal Lobe Brain Tumour.  Please pray that the physicians will have wisdom and that the best possible plans will be made for him.  He does not know Christ so please pray most importantly for his salvation.  His wife is a believer, so pray for her comfort and that she has God’s wisdom in making all the plans for his future.

Prayer for Wayne Grantham - Update August 27th

Wayne is well on the road to recovery and the prayers that went up were certainly helpful in the diagnosis and treatment.

Cindy Grantham writes ... 

I am requesting prayer for my husband Wayne.  He has picked up some kind of bacterial infection and has been in bed sick since last Wednesday, August 15^th.  He has a continuous fever of 104, chills etc.  I am returning to Cobequid today for the second time so that he can get some Intravenous fluids.  We are waiting on cultures so that they will know what antibiotic to give him.  I would appreciate prayer for a speedy recovery and to get to the bottom of this.

Prayer for Flight Family - UPDATE

Update August 19, 2018
Margaret Bessie Flight passed away later that night and the Celebration of Life service was held on Sunday, August 19th.  Our condolences go out to the Flight family.  To view the obituary click here.


August 16th, 2018
We received a call from Derek Flight tonight that his mother, Margaret Flight (84 yrs) has been placed in palliative care.  She has had several strokes this passed year and is now not doing well and they believe she will not be long for this world.  Derek tells us that his mother and father celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary yesterday together. 

She currently is surrounded by many family members and Derek, Wavey & Tyler will be heading to Gander, NL soon.  Please pray for the Flight family as they navigate the coming days.

We will keep the church family updated with any new information as it becomes available.

Prayer for Trudy Rideouts Brother - Corey

Please pray for Trudy Rideouts brother Corey Canning who has had a replase in his Leukemia.  Last August he had a bone marrow transplant.  Corey lives in Edmonton with his wife and two children, he is 47.  Corey is a believer and needs a touch from our Healer.  Please stand with their entire family.

Josie & Gary Harker - prayer requested

Josie & Gary Harker would like us all to pray for their granddaughter who is 17 years old.  She is battling cancer (uterus).  She lives in Ontario.  Please stand with the Harker's as they believe for their young granddaughter to be restored to health.

Prayer for Rose Hartson

Please continue to lift Rose Hartson in prayer - she was taken back into hospital today.  Surround both her and Barry in your prayers - as we believe for Rose to be restored to health.

Unspoken Urgent Request

We have had a request come from Linda in Ontario who is in urgent need of prayer in an unspoken emergency situation. Linda has a connection to us through the Yukes. Let's keep her in prayer today.

Prayer for Rose Hartson

Barry Hartson has asked for prayer Rose his wife who appears to be very sick.   He tells us it is in her liver.  The doctor tells her they are not sure of the prognosis yet - but it does look serious.  We know that the Lord is our healer and we pray that His peace will be with the entire Hartson family.

Condolences to Ballah family

Our condolences go out to the Ballah family on the passing of Ruth Ballah last night.  Ruth is Heather Ballah's mother-in-law and Adam Ballah's grandmother.   Please keep this family in your prayers as they navigate the coming weeks.  Funeral details will be communicated once they are made available to us.

Prayer for Nancy Green

We received a call for us to pray for Nancy Green who is Tina Green's daughter who has been diagnosed with leukemia.  Please keep this family in your prays.  We are believing for a miracle for Nancy!

Pray for Dorothy Adams

Dorothy Adams took a fall on Tuesday night.  She is at the QEII waiting to see an orthopedic surgeon.  Let's stand in prayer that she will be seen soon by the surgeon and that she will have a speedy recovery.

Update for Reta Clark

February 7th, 2018
Update that Reta Clark has been moved to palliative care at Dartmouth General Hospital.  Please pray for the family as the navigate the next few days. 

February 6th, 2018
We received word that Sheryl Knowles'  mother, Reta Clark, has suffered a stroke yesterday morning. They are working through the immediate issues and are hopeful of recovery.  Please pray for Reta and for the entire family for peace in this situation.

Pray for Ed Pardy

Ed Pardy is awaiting surgery.  Please pray it will be scheduled quickly,  go smoothly and that his recovery will go well.
